Call of the Crown V
”The Call of the Crown V” was a Warhammer Fantasy painting challenge run by David M over on the 5thHammer YouTube channel and hosted by Joshua van Z at the Crown of Command podcast. This page details my endeavours during the fifth edition of the challenge (2025-2026).
Time for another go at the Call of the Crown! In my case it's the 5th time around...
For O(r)ctober I'll paint Grimgor Ironhide as my General and 11 of his Black Orc "Immortulz". I'm using 6th edition points and this will come to a whopping 626 points!
This month I painted 10 Squigs and 6 herders. These come to 152 points (6th edition).
As a bonus model I painted a Black Orc big boss for 86 points.
This month I painted 15 Goblin Wolf Riders with full command for a total of 210 points (6th edition).
This month I painted one Goblin Doom Diver and two Goblin Spear Chukkas for 150 points (6th edition).
For February I painted a classic Snotling Pump Wagon. This costs 40 points (6th edition).
For March I painted three River Trolls for 180 points (6th edition).
